I began my career in the Northern Suburbs, came to Chicago to sell condominiums at the beginning of the condo rage in 1972. Spent more time explaining what a condominium was than selling units. Became the trouble shooter for the Development Company in 1977 began working in Residential brokerage. I was a founding partner in Beliard Gordon and Partners. Several years later opened Carol Mrowka and Company. In the early ninety’s it became apparent that small companies struggled to survive against the competition of the large companies. After extensive research I joined Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate in 1993 and I’m still there.
For the past several years it became obvious that real estate would need to re-examine the building process. Times were changing rapidly, energy was becoming increasingly expense and threats of shortages were rearing their ugly heads. Global warming was becoming a fact of life not just talk.
People began thinking about what can be done to save the planet, cut energy costs and have happier lives. This is when I discovered EcoBroker International. I took the course, studied, took my exams and learned a lot about what we shouldn’t do, what’s available to us and what we need to do. I completed the course and received my designation. My hope is that I can help to direct people to healthier lives while protecting our planet. Come join me!
